Plettenberg Bay at a glance

Considered one of the most beautiful places in Southern Africa, Plettenberg Bay is a haven from the hustle and bustle of demanding city life where luxury properties are plenty.

Situated about 600km from Cape Town, Plettenberg Bay is a well known holiday destination for tourists from South Africa and across the world. From November, school leavers flock to the area for the annual “Matric Rage” that takes place in the sleepy town and during the summer holidays, the town becomes a hub of activity as families enjoys the mild temperature and beautiful beaches.

As most of the industry is centred around tourism, the town is geared towards providing amenities for those that visit their picturesque shores. Thus many of the properties here are B&B’s, guest houses and holiday rental properties.

“Plett” as it is known to locals, is also a great place to explore the rest of the Garden Route from as Knysna is in close proximity.
