Gardens, which lies between Tamboerskloof and Oranjezicht, is one of the oldest and most established areas in the city and thus one of the more popular suburbs to buy property in.

Whilst initially used as a vegetable garden after Jan van Riebeeck came ashore in 1652, the garden is now one of the most botanically interesting city parks in the country.

Because the suburb lies in close proximity to the city centre, residents can enjoy all the vibrant and trendy offerings on display on the famed Long Street. The suburb is also perfectly positioned to access the world-renowned beaches.
