More about Wendy
FFC 2023330455 I was born on a small, picturesque island called Curaçao, one of the Dutch colonies and moved to the Netherlands at the age of 9 where I finalized my Matric. My love for France grew after the many holidays we had spent as a family and as a result I moved at age of 20 to the city of lights, Paris, to be part of a booming fashion industry. After 15 years of fashion, commercials, and film I decided it was time to move on to solid ground. Real estate caught my attention. I approached La Grandiere Immobilier and started as an intern. It was 1996 when I visited South Africa for the first time. It became a memorable trip as I was introduced to various crafters with whom at a later stage I collaborated on a range of home accessories for the European market. In 2004 we moved as a family to Cape Town where we continued our design practice under the name of Dillon and Jada. My second introduction to real estate happened in 2015 when I was offered to work as a PA for a then-established estate agent at Chas Everitt. After 6 years I joined REMAX Living and proceeded with my FETC NQF4 Real Estate, PDE4 Exam and qualified as an Estate Agent. I have been blessed with the knowledge I have gained from living and working in different countries with its different cultures and languages (Dutch, English, French). What excites me is the ability to share this knowledge and assist those who are unfamiliar with the dynamics of South Africa when buying a property and of course, those looking to connect with international and local buyers.

What every buyer should know before signing an Offer to Purchase
09 Sep 2024
An Offer to Purchase (OTP) is a legally binding agreement between a buyer and a seller in a property transaction. Once both parties sign the OTP, it finalizes the terms of sale, including the purchase price, property description, and any special conditions. Buyers can withdraw under certain conditions, but doing so without meeting the terms may lead to penalties. It’s crucial for both buyers and sellers to review the document carefully before signing to avoid legal and financial complications.
