Having studied law and completed his LLB at the University of Cape Town, Hayden initially practised as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, whereafter he spent a five-year stint in management at a Blue-Chip company. He then returned to the Cape Bar and re-entered legal practice. The shores of Canada then beckoned, where he encountered RE/MAX for the first time, and a passion for the property industry was born. On returning to South Africa he joined RE/MAX Living. Hayden has achieved some of the top awards at RE/MAX, including Gold Club, Platinum Club, Millionaires Club, Chairman's Club, Titan Club, RE/MAX SA Hall of Fame, RE/MAX International Hall of Fame, RE/MAX SA Lifetime Achievement, and RE/MAX INTERNATIONAL Lifetime Achievement Award.
