Yes, you CAN own your piece of Africa!
This is an exclusive 2.03 ha plot of land, set in pristine African bush in a privately managed wildlife reserve called MONZI PARK. There are 15 plots in this park, of which 13 are developed, in an area that is about 30sq ha in total. It is situated about 15km from the town of ST LUCIA in the province of KWA ZULU NATAL, on the east coast of South Africa. Within the subtropical coastal forest in this park, there are wild antelope such as Red Duiker (endangered), grey duiker and Bushbuck, and an amazing number of bird species and butterflies that roam free between the properties.
It has huge trees and thick bush creating a perfect habitat for the indigenous wildlife, but there are NO DANGEROUS ANIMALS in the Park. A building site has been identified and cleared, and water and electricity supply has been installed to the site already. All houses within the Park are not visible from each other, yet close enough to create a close community of like- minded people, and a unique lifestyle. Imagine having red duiker and bushbuck and crested guinea fowl visiting your garden every day! Monzi Park is managed by its Homeowners on a voluntary basis, with a Board of Trustees elected at the Annual General Meeting each year. Copies of the Park Management Rules and costs of monthly levies are available to interested buyers.
Living in such an exclusive private reserve is a privilege and it is rare to find a lifestyle such as this. On the northern border of Monzi Park, there is a new game reserve which will be opened to the public in due course, adding great value to the position of the property. About 15 mins drive east is the coastal village of ST LUCIA ESTUARY and 2 other game reserves where you can find 4 of the Big 5, being elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard.... Plus many other animals and about 500 species of birds. These reserves form part of a massive Unesco World Heritage site called ISIMANGALISO, which has one of the largest diversities of flora and fauna in the world. Beautiful sandy beaches extend north and south of St Lucia, with whale watching and turtle nesting as an added attraction. It is a popular tourist destination all year round, due to the excellent sub tropical climate and lovely warm Indian Ocean, all on the doorstep of Monzi Park.
