One of the last remaining unbuilt stands in Lissataba Nature Reserve is for sale. Lissataba is 45 years old and a well developed and managed private game reserve. This stand has no neighbouring stands and far from any possible houses. There are views out over the bush towards the river and to rocky outcrops on the other side of the Olifants River. A buyer can build on the full title stand and choose a site of their choice. The Olifants River in the background would make an interesting view. There are several interesting features such as rocky outcrops, termite mounds, Maroela trees and Shepard trees on the stand.
Purchasing a stand allows one to build a private bush house and there is no prescribed building timeline. Building designs are not determined, but there is a set of basic guidelines. The reserve has over 2,500 ha of pristine bushveld which one can game drive, cycle or walk. There are many rocky outcrops, dams and picnic spots. There is a very wide variety of game including Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Sable, Bushbuck, Nyala, Hippo, Hyena and a lot more.
The level of exclusivity makes this stand truly special and there are only four undeveloped stands left. Travel time from the reserve gate to Hoedspruit is 30 minutes. A set of reserve rules can be requested from the Estate Agent. Some of the main rules include: No pets are allowed. Holiday and permanent living is allowed. Syndication is allowed. Friends and family can use your house. Longer term rentals are allowed but not short-term rentals. No commercial lodges allowed.
