The historically beautiful town of Port Alfred is a delightful mixture of laid-back coastal living and world-class facilities.

The Royal Alfred Marina - one of few in the world where every homeowner enjoys private water frontage and a personal jetty! Visitors can enjoy boat cruises through the Marina canals and if you feel energetic you can hire a water pedalo or canoe to make the trip.

During July the town sees an influx of tourists due to the nearby Grahamstown Arts Festival taking place during this time. While the town also remains popular with overseas visitors who escape the cold European winters.
