Ryn Village Retirement Estate in Ekurhuleni rapidly taking shape

Construction is well underway at the recently launched Ryn Village Retirement Estate in Benoni, where 14 of the total of 285 life-right units have been snapped up, mainly by local residents securing their retirement accommodation for the rest of their lives.

The first phase including the boundary wall, inside roads on the estate, guardhouse, and ground floor for the clubhouse, are already completed, as well as 61 units which are either constructed or nearing completion.

Ferreira says as you don’t take transfer in a life rights complex, there are no transfer duties or fees payable, and no Vat or bond registration costs.

“The three-bedroom units are most sought after. We also find a big attraction is that the estate is pet-friendly. Residents can also have guests for a maximum of 21 consecutive days. Living in a well-run estate such as this provides a sense of community so one is never in isolation, but can socialise as and when one wishes.
